something terrible happened....

a tragic accident...

It all started with a lil drive down to Coshocton, OH for a celebratory father's day cookout.

All was going wonderful, Joe was being helpful...

The tubing excursion was about to be under way, and being the adventourous type, Joe couldnt resist coming along for the ride

Cozied up in the cup holder of the tube, Joe was having a blast

a small mouthed bass, estimated to be about 12 lbs - decided he would jump onto my body and flop around just as a fish outside of water does!!!

Me not seeing this fish coming at all, and having a very delayed grasp of what was actually happening, i freaked and barreled over the side of my tube sending all things in my tube.....and yes including Joe, into the Walhounding River.

It was a freak accident and nothing could have prevented it, but I know for a fact he spent his last moments as a happy man

he was last seen....

These fancy fellows were brought into our lives from the infamous Seville Gargae Sales.

Found just thrown in a box with a price tag of "$1.00 for all" - Emily found this treasure box & began to make one of them her sidekick for the evening.

She discovered the crazy flexiblilty these Joes posess & how that makes for very interesting pictures

Through many hours of talk this blog was decided upon to document G.I. Joes everyday life, advertures, travels & friends.

We have so far found theses G.I.'s are very adventorous, daring, helping, funny, maybe a bit homosexual at times, but in the end they just like to have fun!

They rang in Columbus's Gay pride weekend with a mini driveway photoshoot(above) to show their support.
